Rebecca Newton senior pictureRebecca Newton, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a 1998 graduate of home education, completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, graduating with highest honors from College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, Missouri, on May 9, 2010. Due to the unique status of C of O as a work college that encourages its students to practice good stewardship by working for their education instead of taking out student loans, Rebecca was able to earn her degree without incurring significant debt. Her future plans include educational missions in Europe and graduate studies in creative writing and theology. She is currently employed at an insurance agency and enjoys Bible and language study, sewing, cooking, gardening, and writing in her spare time. She attends Truth Tabernacle, pastored by Roy L. Moss, where she plays the piano and leads worship.

Mega Watts with Haitian childHome school graduate Mega Watts, an RN from Nowata, Oklahoma, was honored to be part of the Compassion Services International Mercy Medical trip to Haiti in March, 2010. Over 600 people were given medical care, hundreds received care packets and food, and many were freed from spiritual oppression as we ministered in Jesus' name. There are over 2 million souls in Port-au-Prince who need the hope of Jesus Christ. There's no way we could touch them all with the gospel in the amount of time we were there, but we made a difference for some!
